Ahhh my first opportunity to say rtfm! And once you do you will notice you need to copy a file named spells_en.txt (from the everquest directory) to your eqemu directory before starting your zones.

I have the same problem.

I did RTFM.

The spells_en.txt file is in the correct directory.

What else could I have forgotten to do?

Default Yeah

Well sense all these tards keep screaming read the f***ing manual, i'll try and help you out. If you go to your Loginserver.ini and check and see if it's set to locked=true, change it to false.

To everyone who keeps saying RTFM i can tell you were to stick that damn thing, everyone who posts here usually has a problem that the manual does not explain and errors are differen't not all can be solved the same way.

I totaly agree with Poink the manual barly covers the servace. and there is so many ways a an error can accure. so isted of been rood help the person and if it is in the manaul tell them where it is. becouse the more friendly we are to the newbies and the more help we give the more severs there are and more contrabutions to making better servers. heck mabee that newbee that does not under stand the manual with a little help probly could make the most stable server.

heck I fallowed the manual word for word and I still had error problems so I gave up for the time been. (the nice thing about having mutable computers have manual on one setup on a nother one and test with a diffrent one.) I think my biggest failure with making a server work I am behind a internet gatway with fire wall. witch spoofs all IP's witch makes it inpossable at this time for some on to remoltly connect un till I figur out how.
