What can the Players do to help the Developers/Server OP's create a working Legit Server?

Find out what they need packetcollected and go into EQLive to find out opcodes, etc. Show up in irc chat and just ask what they need collected.

also, im in australia so irc will be really tricksy.

Packet collecting: running packetcollect program from www.eqemu.net - files link during EQLive while performing certain actions, like riding a horse, or grouping, or casting a certain spell. The information collected by that program is potentially very useful to the developers if one can packetcollect what they need.

Also, we are finding that more and more use can be made from ShowEQ with some minor modifications to do more reliable packet collecting.
