Default Newbie needs help.

I finished following the readme and i can't log into any servers. I get the same errore message every time. It informs me that I must re run the patch because of a loss in connectivity to the patch server. i tried and still no luck. So i decided to try to see if i could even log into my own server.

Still no luck. i can not even log into a server of my own creation, Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem... I changed my EQhost.txt file and it shows the servers I can get into, but each time I try I get a 1017 error... saying I need to patch. I am definitely signed up... LOL Just trying to play the game on the EMU to see what it's like.
