Gotfrags Server . . . ETA?

I'm relatively new to the Emu scene. I've been looking into it a bit for a few months, but I haven't gotten too serious until today. So, I got all the files, read through most of the forum, and am still having a little trouble. But from what I've read, most people are having the same ones. Yet, none of the solutions supplied for others have helped me. So, before I make yet another thread asking for help on a generic problem, I'd like to log-in to Gotfrags, since that's much more simple than setting up a local server, and less room for error. It would save me a lot of troubleshooting.

My question is:

Does anyone know how long until the Gotfrag server will be up and running again? Was there any ETA supplied, or reasons for it being down? In all the threads I've read, I haven't seen anything answering these questions.

Gotfrags is been down alot, they update their server constantly. But the good thing is gotfrags is the most stable and has the newest changes. My suggestion is joining the IRC chat and talk, thats the best place to find information about the server.
