Im having what I think is a similar error...

Running WinXP, and Im fairly sure I have everything set up correctly (I've done this before many times), but when I go to run boot5zones.bat, it loads the EqEqmuMemShare dll, then all 5 zones crash... doesnt give an error, just says that the proggy caused an error and needs to be shut down

Make sure your npc_types table has the fields for bodytype and resists.

If they do, then you may need to dump the db and use an older db addon.

I'm using a custom db and it works like a charm, so it's gotta be something wrong in an addon.

I checked, and they have both the resists and bodytype fields... odd thing is, the only db im using as a source is the one included with 4.2

Try dropping the database, using the 4.1 version, and just manually adding any new columns that were put in with 4.2.

I'm also getting these errors on both my Windows XP machine and my Windows 2000 machine.

I was waiting for 4.2 to start using EQemu so I don't have any files before 4.2.

I've checked the database and I have bodytypes and resist entrys:

Field Type Null Key Default
bodytype int(11) Yes
MR smallint(5) 0

First timer attempting to be an EQEmu user - and I'm an SQL dummy (so talk slowly ).

Not at all!

Download the World DB 1.1 Beta 3, and also download npc_types update from the World Building forum.

In the npc_types zip, open resists and copy everything in it, and then paste all that at the very bottom of the npc_types.txt in the World DB files, then update it like normal (readme covers that).

Note, however, that I didnt have time to test and see if the server actually ran... but this DID get me past the error while loading boot5zones.
