Default Patch Day! (Again)

I'm not home and haven't personally investigated the new patch yet, but I suspect we'll be in for another round of struct/opcode changes.

Backup, Backup, Backup...

I know what you mean. It feels like every other time I log into EQLive they are patching me. For all that effort, I pray that one day they will include a patch that will keep me from zone crashing.

I can dream can't I?

About three years ago I worked for a digital broadcasting company. One of the things they thought was really "cool" was over-the-air-updates. I considered the idea somewhat outrageous that we would do patches without the consent of the customers. But worse, I felt that such a system would encourage too many patches.

These were the same people that a few months after I was laid off couldn't do better than 20% successful over-the-air installations.

Sort of reminds me of the car I was looking to buy long time ago. I said "like the car, don't like the color". The salesman replied, "no problem, we will paint it whatever color you want."
Somehow it wasn't the same to me.

Just to clarify things, what essential files do I need to back up?
