Default Addon with new release

Okay, decided to just redo my whole DB with the new release. This is what I got when I tried to integrate the 4.1 addon release:

ERROR 1136 at line 74517 in file: 'spawns.sql': Column count doesn't match value
count at row 1
ERROR 1136 at line 74518 in file: 'spawns.sql': Column count doesn't match value

ERROR 1136 at line 74527 in file: 'spawns.sql': Column count doesn't match value

....on and on.

Any ideas? It just appears to appear with the spawns.sql file.

Should I just reinstall with 4.1 both with db.sql and then do the addon and then update with 4.2 and see how it works?

Okay, restored back to the working version of 4.1. Now, would anyone know what needs to be done to integrate 4.2 into the currently working db?

I haven't found much on MYSQL as far as integration like this. Will it work like this?:

mysql.exe -f eq < db.sql

Thanks for any help!

This one:

That's the latest on the file site to my knowledge.

I believe that 4.1 has an additional, unneeded column (or the other way around hehe). There are instructions for upgrading from 4.1 to 4.2 on the help forums. Try installing 4.1 and the 4.1 addon, then following those instructions to upgrade to 4.2. That should work.

there are actually 5 extra columns on the end of the npc_types table. one for each resist type.

Check in world building forum...I posted an sql that will update your npc_types to contain the resist columns without having to resource your db.

I was getting the same problem. I ended up just shutting down MYSQL, deleting the EQ directory in c:\mysql\data, and then re-running the install.bat file from the addon.

It just resets all data in the database, so all chars and other things you added are gone.

Not really a fix, but did get me back up and running.
