Boot To Desk Top after Server Select

I have just installed everything from eq emu, and i log in blah blah blah

but then i get to the server select
i pick whatever ... then !

I hear yay the EQ music YAY !

Bam ! i get booted to desktop

1st I hear things something about eqfix.zip where do i d/load
2nd i dun have MirC and im cheap
3rd I try following forumn tips and d/load eqfix.zip, but its just the eqpatch thingy so lol hahaha :evil:
