Default Several Topics

I have several random thoughts here.

1.) I've briefly looked over the databases and do not see the following:
a.) A place for NPCs to have a level range to spawn from.
b.) A document describing the purpose of each field. ( I can guess but sometimes it is good to have it at a glance)

2.) I've also noticed that there are many "custom" databases floating around. Is there any one database that has ALL Legit items, spawns, npcs etc ... where there is an effort to adhere to the live servers?

3.) With the fore-mentioned database in mind, has anyone made scripts that use it as a base and try to upload any changes as updates to this one database?
This way we can avoid duplicates, and overwriting good locations, spawns, npcs etc..

The reason that I am throwing this out here is because it seems that everyone is having problems trying to mix and match everyone elses scripts. Maybe if when posting you can reference a base database to load, then post scripts that make updates or modifications to that database?

I understand that these are special circumstances and everyone is working to get things right but if everyone would try to work more together instead of posting your one of version of it, then things may start going smoother.
** Please No Flames ** I just want things to go smooth for this project because I like it.

I expect that when the next release comes out, everything will work much better, but until then...

Yes, I am working on a database as well, but I would like to know what base version of the database is a good one to get the correct information from without having to reinvent it.

World Building forum probably would have been your best bet for this post...but something I'm not 100% sure I understand:

What do you mean by that? The same NPC that has a varying level range?

Yes, on EQLive at most spawn points mobs will spawn that have different level ranges, same type of mob but different level range.

I probably don't know alot what I'm talking about since I am very new, but at first glance I didn't see a way to make NPCs spawn at one point but with random levels.
Case example would be the poachers in JaggedPine. Each time one spawns, it might be a different level.

I think I know of a way to get around this, but it seems to me like the database / exe should have a field to look at to randomly pick the levels you would llike the mob to spawn from.

I will do more research before I post again.

Ohh, that's as simple as adding multiple entries in npc_types then adding them all to the same spawn group with a chance to spawn.
