Um... Nothing In EQ has to do with your account key except the activation process. everquest.exe checks dates and size of files to compare them to the server's files, and will download only some if they aren't there. The program has no access what-so-ever to CD keys... Those are all stored on the registration server, not the files server. What I'd suggest if you won't cough up the money to buy EQ is to borrow it, install it, and give it back to the guy you got it from. You don't need the CDs to play, and you don't need them to run the patcher. Once you've got it installed, run the patcher with all features enabled. Once it's done, run the EQEmu patcher and go through the readme at
