Default The Log in bug

I notice this happens more on guild wars then any server , But it does happen on other servers to , U get to the server select screen and then enterworld and just hang in the loading screen This is a major issue that should be looked at , You can only log that char in when it is moved to another zone , And sometimes that doesnt even work

This is happening like 1000x's more then it ever has since the lastest version of EMU. Not only on GuildWars but Krusher and Dils and ever single other server. Its near impossible to zone now.

Yup, i quit GW because of this bug... I've lost 2 characters there to this. I mean, what's the point of working on leveling a character that will inevitably go "poof"?

I just tried Winter's Roar for the first time tonight, and while the server itself seemed pretty cool, I got no further than level 5... zoned into the Great Divide, and *boom*...

So, at least now I know it isn't just GW. Personally, I *never* experienced this bug or even heard of it until after the last EQEmu release. It's not that I don't appreciate all the hard work that goes into this Emu, but until this is fixed, I see no reason to play it.

Do you guys that get the login bug use the same eq directory to play live? If you do and you just use the patcher to update your files to play eqemu, I wonder if Sony sent a file that screws up the client and the patcher doesnt look for it. I never get bugged, but then again I have never changed my eqemu directory since December.

I haven't played on Live for weeks, yet I've gotten bugged too. So I don't think that's it.

Default login bug

Since I upgraded to the new 4.4's I have been experiencing TONS of character losses, including my own char King Mortenson. When I would recreate the char, the bug would occur again, So I tried to remake char with a different name. So far I haven't had the bug again, but I have had to re-fit several of the players on my server with their old gear because of this bug, It seems to be happening more now than with the old CVS, I think it also may be related to the player ini's on the client side. When I would delete my INI's with my name then I could login and it would be ok.
