Default Playing EQEMU without an ISP

OK so i have heard there is a way to create a minilogin server without being connected to the internet........I almost got it i think I can login but when i get to server selection screen.......No servers......would i need to create a server on another computer on my LAN or can i create one and plzy it from the same computer......help please i cannot find very much information on this.

There's not much info because minilogin isn't really supported.

You can run all of EQ (server that gives information to your game AND client that interprets the information into pictures) on one single PC. You just have to look up information. It's probably littered all over the place in support and tutorial forums. Use the "search" function of the boards to look for minilogin.

It sounds like a misconfiguration somewhere. Did you change the eqhosts.txt and set up the server to reflect localhost or 127.0.0.1 everywhere? Failing that, it would probably be that some aspect (like your SQL) isn't playing nice with the other programs.
It's not that you aren't online, obviously if you have a LAN that's not it.

Everything is set to localhost or 127.0.0.1......still no servers.....still looking for info on this.
