DAMN EQemu patcher
Hi guys I wanted to tell you about my experience with EQemupatcher. First to "read the FAQ" freaks, yes I did andinstalled everything properly and livepatched. Then EQemupatcher says "cannot connect to patch server"...So I went to IRC and Hogie helped me find out that my connection was the problem. But when I called my ISP (french cable NOOS for those interested) they never heard about a proxy at their level, so I had nothing to do but install the game on a friend's PC with ADSL and there it worked. So I burnt everything on few CDs and copied it back to my PC...and EQemu worked ! but not the patcher, of course...until a few days later (must have happened around the beginning of June) where i tried the patcher without believing and it also worked ! I thought the EQemu patch server was cahnged, but around the 18/06 I could not patch it again and same from since. Can someone help me find a way to make it work on my cable connection ? or do I have to change to ADSL ? Thank you by advance
