check your eqhost.txt and make sure that you replaced it with the emus eqhost.txt, if that fails make sure its connecting to 5997 not 5999, althought i doubt that would be the problem cause it will just say incorrect version.....but its worth a try
I'll Tell you now but you should really read other Posts - there are Tons of Posts on THis. Right now there is nothing you could do as this is a Client Side Problem. (that means a problem with the login server) Since you don't control the login server you can't do anything so you'll just have to wait till the developers can figure out what is wrong. Until then keep reading posts if you have any other questions
