Default A question ouuta curiosity regarding world building

OK so I get on a 0.5.0 sever one night and I fall through the world in GFAY, login the next night and I dont fall through.

I can't zone the normal way one night (gotta use the #zone command), but can the next night (at least a couple of zones).

Both evenings doors are just kind floating wherever, but do open and close - kinda amusing

Point is, this server is being worked on - but aren't these basic items that would be the same for all servers.

My question is, zones, zoning, and doors don't haveto be custom programmed for each server, correct?

5.0 progress meter sais doors are 100% and Zoning is 80%, the only problem going LD.

Greatly appreciated if some would explain this to this noob.

Those are DB issues, the person running the server has to make sure the DB is set up. There is alot more work left. =)

DB issues - Don't quite get that, I would think Door locations and zoneing info would be static info that would be hardcoded.....
