Default 5.0 Item Editor Progress

Hi everyone, lately I have been working on a new Item Editor for 5.0 because our lovely Kaiyodo seems to be missing  . I'll be adding in as many features as I can this week and try and get a beta version out as soon as possible. Anyways here's a sneak peak: http://www.fliphost.net/images/itemeditor.jpg -- Please feel free to leave any comments and feature requests in this topic. Also... not all of those textboxes will stay textboxes, they are just there for early development .

Nice job, dude. There are some changes in the works, since items changed with the Oct 9 patch. Here's the changes I know of:

New Fields:
LoreFlag
Unknown110
Unknown111
Unknown112

Changed Fields:
"Lore" no longer specifies artifact, lore, summoned, etc. (not 100% positive here)
Unknown089 is being renamed Unknown081

Here's my comments on the screenshot I see:
* Could you allow sorting the list by either ID and Name?
* Each Item Type should be mutually exclusive
* GMFlag, MinStatus, Comment, Updated fields?

Thanks Merth! I haven't been in the item_struct for a few days, been working on underlying code and been swamped with school lately. The UI in the screenshot was a rough scetch and will be changed soon. I completely missed those few fields, thanks for spotting that. I do have sorting by name and id, just wasn't on the UI . Again thanks for the help.

edit: i have it so only one of the Item Type check boxes can be checked at one time. also, are the unknowns 110-112 common fields?

It would be nice to have a Simple and Advanced mode.

Simple
Where its all newbified (eqadmin tool) where you can click on check boxes for races/classes, and click the picture for the icons, and the color thing.

Advanced
Where this is just all like you have it now. All by the numbers where you can get more dirty into it.

This is just recommended as I previously had to switch between each two when both worked to get what I wanted. Kiayodo had things I needed, where EQAdmin had others which Kiayodo had not.

Merth,

I'm just taking a crack in the dark, but the LoreFlag could possibly be to control augments. In Live, even if your item has two type2 slots, you are only allowed to use one of any name (Solid Coal of Prowess for example) -- even though the augment itself is not lore. You could have five of them on your person (one in Chest, Arms, Feet, Hands and Legs) but only a maximum of one per equip/item slot. Considering many had augments returned on their cursor after that patch, that may be related.

Also, if you augment a tradeable item, it becomes "no drop" flagged. That wouldn't be a database change to that item, so that must be hiding somewhere as well.

I guess we'll know more when we can PC some of this.

That's actually a very good guess about the loreflag...very possible.
