Zone not available

Always get zone not available when trying to enter world with character,tried a couple,none work...looked at other posts and cant seem to find solution....boot5zones.bat gets no error...but heres what world.exe looks like...

Go to http://wiz.addr.com/FixZone.zip and download the zone file. Rename it "zone" and replace the existing zone.exe with the new once. Then restart your computer and it should work!

Replaced Zone.exe With renamed Zonent.exe to Zone.exe...now getting error 1017 when trying to log on to server and world .exe looks like

Hmm,tried Minilogin also but get the exact same error,1017, and same error in world.exe...

That sounds to me like you need to do the grant all rights thingie mentioned in other posts. I've copied what is below from one of Xarslick's posts.............



Try: Code:
GRANT ALL ON *.* TO yourusername@IP IDENTIFIED BY 'yourpassword';

For example, let's say your username is equser, your IP is 192.168.0.5, and your password is trickey. You'd enter: Code:

GRANT ALL ON *.* TO equser@192.168.0.5 IDENTIFIED BY 'trickey';

Thanks...Im think thats what fixed it, server is working with items...but no npcs heh, think I know what to do there tho

Ok I am at this same spot now, I have downloaded the zone file and replaced the old one. Now my question is where do you run this command with the GRANT ALL ON thingy? I get the Zone not avail message when i try to log a toon in.

Any help is appreciated, thank you

Looks to me like you dont have the zones running correctly...
After your "Connected to LoginServer: 127.0.0.1:5999" you should get some lines saying New tcp connection... and New zoneserver..

those lines should pop up when you run your boot5zones.

Run from within mysql.exe which would normally be located in \mysql\bin
