Default Combat.

I'm noticing something very unnerving while playing. Creatures NEVER miss. Never! And they seem to do hella amounts of damage, even when players are fully armored.

This a normal thing for now?

I haven't seen this problem occur in my running around. I haven't "played for real" so to speak, but I've pumped up chars to various levels with equipment and for the most part, it seems to play like real EQ damage wise (excluding dragons apparently, lol I was soloing Vox and Gor).

Guild master's are definately on par with their damage output.

As for missing, just like real EQ if your level is above by quite a bit of the NPC, they will for sure miss more often. Damage could be skewed though on some mobs, since pets do some insane damage. I had a lvl 58 SK pet out and it was quadding for 200-300.

Also, are dodge, parry, etc working? They play a big part too.

I played real EQ for a long time and I don't recall many misses against my chars that were remotly close to my lvl Especially for a caster character.
