I cant log in a server. The game says "Error 1017"

The game says it's a patch problem... I think it's impossible but... Help me plz, I cant play.

I only have EverQuest, not Luclin Xpansion... Is there the problem?

i am getting this error also. I think the new patch that just came out for eq broke the eqemu but what do i know i just started trying to play on the emu 2 days ago i can log in but not connect because of the 1017 error will some please send my me a copy of there eq files so i can play on the emus servers. PLEAESE i also have request that emueq be updateed to work with thew new patch.
