Another way

Right clic on your desktop.
Then create a New Shortcut

When the assistant is diplayed, clic on browse and find "eqgame.exe" in the Everquest Folder.

Press Next.
Type a name for this ShortCut ( ex : EqGame )
Press Ok

Right clic on this shortcut to display properties and modify the target like this :

"C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

Press Ok

Working fine.
