Wanted: Packet Collector

I need someone to packet collect some high level zones for me. You need to be able to packet collect and have a high level character with access to some dangerous zones.

The following zones are what I need:

people tell me not to because i will get banned (that SOE can Detect) can you offer some facts on how they cannot detect pls thanks alot ^.^

I dont think SOE can detect it. Aslong as it does not send and info to the SOE server then you should not have a problem..

Its like the radio. You hear a song you like so you record it and the Radio people has no way to find out that you recorded it unless you tell them.

I'm not sure if there is a way to packet collect the old PoH, as you can no longer zone there (to my knowledge) in EQ live.

Yeah old PoH isn't possible, it's been replaced on all servers.

Not too sure as to accuracy of spawns , but PoH (old) is populated in my alpha0_1 DB for 050.

(the alpha0_1 is the 044->050 converted)

You cannot be detected. They are not allowed to see what programs you are running unless they use illegal means in which then you could sue them and gain lots of dough. $$$

It won't happen, it's not like a hack. All it's doing is picking up information, like a radio, as he said. I gaurantee you won't get your account banned unless you run around saying i'm packetcollecting WoooOooOoOoo.

It simply comes down to, do you want to or not. There is no risk involved, just the lazyness factor.

Nothing is more irritating than getting finished with a very large item hunt with the PC... Running the item dump... And my modem deciding it wants to disc. thus losing all the items (because the PC turns itself off after the item dump)

I remember speed & spell hacking back in the day, made popular by the original EQW site. Aside from just sharking the programming, there were plenty of trainers, being released to be compatible every time a new patch ran on EQLive. Everyone was wigging because they heard people were getting caught, and that's where all the BS started. Well, not to be king of the obvious, but when you blast across WK in 3 seconds showing off to your buddies, then tell them exactly how you did it, you're gonna get caught and banned. Just don't be a dumbass, and you're fine. If you want to talk about the activities here with your friends on EQLive, take it to AOL/IM, ICQ, something of the sort. Keep it off their radar. Not that hard.

I agree.. I used showeq for a LONG time... (I used it for mapping more than anything else, I was never interested in trying to spawn harvest, though I have to admit to using it to find blues to kill and maximize my leveling!))

The art is too act responsibly.. Everyone I ever knew who got caught and/or banned was a complete dumbass about it...

You will get banned if SOE detects you packet collecting. It's as simple as that.

I could spew out a bunch of facts about why you wouldn't get caught, but why? Let's say you end up doing something stupid like talking about it online to some friends, and end up getting caught. Who would you going to come to looking for retribution? Me. I doubt you would take responsibility for yourself in that type of situation.

If you're worried about losing your account, this isn't the job for you.

Program used for lots of stuff. Can see which mobs are up in the zone, where the players are (usefull for pvp) and more.
