Default Cleric, Druid & Ranger Epic 1.0

Below are the links to the files for the Epic 1.0 Quests for Clerics, Druids and Rangers.

Some of the files existed in their entirety, some I had to fix, some I had to write.

You will have to tweak your database a bit, so I would suggest you go thru and do the quests yourself as a GM and see what YOUR Database needs. In the Cleric Epic, you may need to add a couple of TradeSkills. I have them included but see that text about them before you add them.

I've gone thru all of these quests several times, shortening text where it needed to be and made sure that all turn ins worked properly.

Here are the links to the files...

I'm working on the other classes as well....

Enjoy.

the PEQ quest db already has 8 verified epic quests, including the ranger and cleric, for download.

muuss wrote the cleric epic and submitted it and i wrote the ranger files. maybe you could note if/where you made changes to the existing files.

Ylosh, just a suggestion, but is there any way to make the PEQ quest database more "public"? I had searched this forum endlessly looking for 1.0 epic scripts before embarking on what I thought was a ground-breaking effort to complete the Cleric Epic as well (seems a favorite for script writers )

The only time I learned about PEQs quest repository was accidentally stumbling across a link on the PEQ site itself. Maybe I am blind, but I could see no obvious link to it. Am I making sense? Probably not. early on Sunday and barely 1/2 a cup of coffee in my system.

TIA,
J

I sent Ylosh a PM asking just about the same thing.

Thanks for posting your message John, now I know it's not just me. I've downloaded all 3 of the Quest files from Project EQ, and none of them have the complete set of files.

It's helped me to figure out how things work though, so it was beneficial in one way.

Maybe Ylosh is refering to a cvs repository. But the only one I was able to find is whoefully outdated.

I would kill to get my hands on daily or even weekly snapshots of the PEQ databases.

This is what we are talking about:
http://www.projecteq.net/quests/

I never knew that was there, except for some fortunate link in a post somewhere. I am not even sure how this gets updated, but I bet Ylosh does.
