I have just gotten a copy of everquest, and i was wondering: What is the best expansion to get for it? In other words, which one has the most players playing in it.
but you wont actually be able to play (after patching for 5days)
since SOE has just come up with a new expansion, released today..
that will break EQemu for everyone who updates to it...
but you can always patch up and wait til the new eqemu is out
it will prolly take a while, since its a whole new
expansion that needs to be added..
well actually i dont think they need to get it 100%
compatible with the eqlive servers to make it work,
but they'll need to check the new UI and commands
and so on..
Ouch, sore spot! Don't ask for estimated time to completion dates. Developers HATE that on free projects. Let's just say it's 4/17/05, and be pleasantly surprised if it comes out before that.
Patches like these can take months (and have taken months). Wait until the developers come out and tell us how hard it's going to be. I'm not sure that they know how long it will take.

I really like what the whole crew is doing with this emulation thingy. I will DEFINITELY consider donating to the cause. Just promise me one thing....keep up the GREAT work!!
yea, its actually pretty unbelievable all they've done..
its crazy :> they have proven their wits may times over again
Horray for the Coders for making this possible!!
There's about the same chance of them quitting their dayjobs for this project because of donations as there is of me giving birth to forty year-old sextuplets out of my fingernail on the 29th of February.
The donations are amazing if they hit $500/mo, and in the US that might pay rent, depending on your city.

heheh, well i ment if we would get uber large and
people from Live will come here to save some money, and
you can have a $10 donation for giving them a acc or somethin..
(if your gonna get greedy) or just keep it free (prefered)..
