Default Zone / Client Crashes

Im having some problems with various problems with clients getting disconnected ad Zones crashing for odd reasons.

Clients seem to disconnect:
-Upon death (apparently any death, caused by anything causes a client to go LD)
-When Trying to Camp out (the moment they begin to camp, they are kicked to server select)

Zones are crashing:
-Whenever a player summons a mob over level 65 and attempts to kill it(ive only had experience with this when the mob is llevel 255, but im told that 67+ will do it) seems that the mobs aggro causes the crash
-when players are killed by a spell / weapon proc


ive been searching for a few hours so far and i havent stumble across any fixes yet. A push in the right direction would be pretty awesome about now :lol:

The newest precompiled binares will solve most of the problems there as they changed some of the code to cut out most of the LD after dieing and when casting a spell unsucessful like when you dont have a reagent or something along those lines.

That's where the newest binaries are. When you download the file you will notice there is another zip file inside the original zip file that has the precompiled binaries that you can just copy over your old zone.exe, world.exe, and EMusharemem.dll files. Please make sure you also source in the sql file to update your database, too. As always when sourcing anything in make sure you backup your database if there is anything you don't want to lose in it. You shouldn't have trouble with a source of that file, but it's always better to be safe then sorry.

Also keep in mind that it is not officially supported, and there will still be bugs with it.

Btw matt, could you tell me how to summon items in the game? i searched the forums for like a week and i cnat figure it out...


i tried/makeitem
i tried/opup item
i tried /give me my friggin sord
i tried /give me it ... please
and i tried /summon ... but every time i did that some ogre named "Schpankme Knightly" showed up and this poped up in the diologue box

"OMFG WHY YOU KEEP SUMMONING ME"
and he ran off.


pleeeeeeeeeeze pleeeeze pleeeeze help!

Actually, it wasn't. I had that from reading posts before you made a sticky, but I was just trying to help the person who asked where they were rather then jump on him for not knowing where to find them.
