Default Server Update....

i updated everquest.... then did the host thing but the patch i downloaded i think is too new... it even included an update for the new expansion so since this is a new update will i be able to play on the servers anytime soon? it says something about error etc. but i know its because of the patch.

Answered your own question. No, you won't because the patch appears to have changed the opcode for the client to connect. A compatible version of Emu will be avaliable from CVS soon I would imagne, when the Dev team actually gets to look at what changed.

Until then just be patient, and wait for a binary release if you can't compile the CVS.
