Does your handle on these boards mean something to you?

I was just wondering about handles on these boards.. Did you pick your handle from something important to you or that has some meaning? Or, did you just see a cool name and decide,

"That is who I'll be."

Or, did you just think of some name just to get access to your account?

I picked mine from a piece of literature. It is from the "Thomas Covenant" series written by Stephen R. Donaldson. Samandhi Reaver was one of the bad guys in the stories. Not un-like the ring-wraiths in Lord of the Rings. Dont ask me why I picked a bad guy to be my handle, because I dont think that it was either a good or bad character choice, just liked the name, and it has stuck to me hehe.

How about you? Do you have a story behind why you chose your name? Let me know. I have seen a lot of different names and some seem like there is more meaning than just picking some name. But others, one can tell that it was just a formality to getting access to post on this board (ie.... poops7). Dont really want to know about that one

Maybe a week or so before I registered, I was trying to download a map off of PlanetQuake and had to go through FilePlanet. I used the name generator and it stuck.

Ooooold nick. I think I made it back in '96 when I created my first mail account =) Means nothing to me or about me though Just like the word executor and I had to add 3000 because all other logins were occupied.

No importance to my name, but when I signed up I did not expect to be that active on the boards.... so I was wrong

The _005 has to do with mob names getting numbers added if there are more than 1 After all there are tons of lurkers on the message board! And lastly 5 because of the TV show B5 and that was where I remember hearing lurker used to describe the people hiding out in the shadows.

You HAVE read the 2nd chronicles, yes? Didnt like them QUITE as much as I liked the first chronicles, but still VERY much worth reading.

A mongrel is a mix of two dog races (also called "bastard", I think?). Well, my RL surname sounds very similar to a german swear word for dogs, so that's where my nick comes from, hehe.

My name comes from years ago.... I have a twin brother who was always a little bit bigger than me, so, some of our friends would call me Little Russ... I just shortened it to LTLRUSS. Russ is an abbreviated form of my last name. Bet no one can guess what it is.
