Default No Spawns

I download the 9.0 world data from ariak and put it in with the 3.1, i get on and i see no spawns, i just figure maybe 9.0 don't work with 3.1, so I download Lurker's 3.0 db and put that into the mysql, after i cleared out ariaks, that still had no spawns! I cleared that out and put in drawdes 8.0 and it still don't work. How do I get spawns to come up? It shows the spawns in EQEmu Admin, but no spawns anywhere on my server. What would I be doing wrong? I go into mysql.exe and type "use eq" and then "source db.sql", right?

Best guess, check your db.ini and see what database it is using.

If that says the same database that you were sourcing into, then we will need more info. Like exactly what you ran, the results, and copy and paste your config files.

Here is my db.ini:

[Database]
host=localhost
user=not showing :P is correct
password=not showing :P is correct
database=eq

That is the database I did source them to. I have tried it again, but now I can't log on, if you can plz check Pimpy's Server and see if I have spawns I will keep trying. There was no errors in the mysql either, just the duplicate file thing.

I just looked at my world.exe file I was running, and an error popped up: Connected to the server failed. Error: 10061
Not sure how to copy and paste into this, if you can tell me I will copy/paste the whole thing

click the MSDOS icon in the upper left corner of the world window, and select toolbar. That should give you a toolbar with copy and paste buttons. There should also be an edit option on that menu.

Post your loginserver.ini, and restart your server and post the info again, we need to find the first error.

change
loginserver=lapdance.cyberjunky.net
to
loginserver=eqlogin.eqemu.net

Why were you using the cyberjunky address, and where did you get a loginserver with the loginconfig section in it?

Drawdes, Ariaks and Lurkers databses do NOT WORK with 0.3.1 yet. thay need to update them with the new columns in npc_types.
