Old files?

Ok, so I try to get a none up-to-date server accesible and find out I need some old EQ files, but when I ask for them I get told its warez and that I should fuck off for asking for them? So wtf is the deal? how can I figure out which files I need?

Dont asking for them, just trying to understand how to get the info when I cant ask about it

Some peole can be kind of rude... Don't worry about it.

If you know the last time you patched, you can figure out which server you can play on. I don't know the dates off the top of my head, but it shouldn't be too hard to find with a little searching. If you don't know, you'll probably only be able to play on the 5.7(DR4) servers. I believe that's the version that's caught up to live. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bugs that need to be worked out.

If you'd like, you can check out the Winter's Roar forum at Winter's Roar. I think that if you follow the guide on how to play there, you could probably get on. It's actually a really good server, very customized.
