when you get to the part? get to the part of the readme.txt?

If you read from the start it would tell you to copy db.sql from the emu folder (or zip file) into the mysql/bin directory

If db.sql is in your mysql\bin directory you will not get that error. check again, and check that your typing source db.sql corectly.

You must copy db.sql not db.ini to mysql\bin

I suggest you select tools from the explorer menubar, then folder options. Select the view tab, and uncheck "hide files of known file type"

WOOT ok it feels like I'm really really close, I get everything seemingly working fine, and then I go to login and there are no servers listen in the server lists in the client. I left the user and pass fields blank in the loginserver.ini and I am using minilogin.....some possible things that could be wrong.
#1 first thing minilogin sais is "{loginconfig} block not found on loginserver.ini
cant really find anything else that looks odd...all of the zone windows say everything is loading well and all....im terribly confised, someone help. I'm on the home stretch

actually one more thing wrong, the world.exe window sais "incomplete loginserver.ini file" but then it continues on....obviously the probly is my loginserver.ini, this is what it looks like:
### --- This file tells world.exe what loginserver to connect to.
### --- do not add an account and password unless a EQEmu Dev member has created an account for you.
### --- adding an account and password only grants the server a green name and is not needed.

### --- Public Login is un-supported as is LAN playing. We reccomend using the EQEmu.org Loginserver ALWAYS.

# READ README.TXT

[LoginServer]
loginserver=localhost
worldname=
locked=false
account=
password=
worldaddress=localhost
loginport=5999

anyhelp will be greatly appreciated. and remember im trying minilogin...one more quick question, how can I find out my won IP
