Default Minilogin Question

Greetings...

I'm curious what I'm doing wrong... I just started working with EQEMU & I love it...

I go through the process of starting up all the programs. Mysql is up & running. Minilogin Starts & is listening. World.exe goes up fine. When I run Bootzone59x.exe I get intworldservererror 10011 error or something to that nature. I run EQW & my server is locked & all zones are not available.

BUT

If I just call out & connect to the internet & run everything the intworldserver error 10111 goes away & I'm able to play no problem. How come I have to connect to the internet to get Minilogin?

I would guess your using an ip for the minilogin address rathen than just localhost, but without seeing the files cant say for sure..

Yes, Sorry... I'm currently at work so I don't have all the info in front of me... But I have used localhost & 127.0.0.1 & I get the problems using both.

I'm sort of confused in troubleshooting this problem. If I start mysql while connected to the internet it takes my internet IP of 246.#.#.# <---example... But of course when not connected it shows 127.0.0.1
I just can't find the connection why it works if I'm conneted to the internet when I run the bootzone59x.exe file... Even in the .bat file I've used localhost & 127.0.0.1

When ya get home post all your cfg files and well check em for problems.. you can use 127.0.0.1 or localhost for mysql whether you are connected to the net or not..

Try using localhost instead of 127.0.0.1 in your boot5zones file.

Also try deleting the loginserver2 and loginport2 lines in loginserver.ini

This may not solve the problem, but it won't hurt anything either.

Greetings...

Something is wrong... I made those simple changes & now my Worldserver doesn't show up on on the server list. Is my setup somehow reading from loginserver2?

Are there any errors, and check for typos. If you still can't figure it out, post loginserver.ini here again
