Hello all, I am new to EQemu and would like to ask some questions. I have ordered Titanium online and I am eagerly awaiting it's arrival. (It wasn't available in any stores in my area ). I was thinking of doing a minilogin and using Hamachi to make a VPN for some friends and me to play together. I've been all over the boards reading a ton of threads and studying the Wiki. The anticipation of having this at my fingertips and just waiting for Titanium to come in the mail has me on edge hehe.
Anyway, how close is EQemu to live. I know that's a pretty general question with a ton of possible responses, so here is what I was thinking and could some of you nice folks tell me how close to the real deal it would be?
Say if a full group of level 70 people walked into ToV with really good gear. Would we be able to clear it? Would the mobs AE? Would the loot tables be accurate? If so which DB is the best? Would the strats from Live work i.e. hiding behind the edge of the wall to avoid Aara's AE? Do AA's work? I understand that some do and some don't. Is there a list of which ones do work? Is the ring of Vulak event working? Does the event to pop AoW work?
Is there a working quest for VT? If not how can toons go about gaining access?
I know that's alott of questions, but I can't seem to find enough information to give me a feel for what it's like. I can find a little bit of info here and there but no real synopsis. I guess I will find out in a few days but would really like to have some of these questions answered. If I'm a pest just disregard me
