Default here is a odd question

anyone know what would need to be done to get the EQmac client to connect to a private server?

hmmm i wouldnt think it would be to hard, maybe tweaking the ini like in the windows client?

Sorry to say, but they aren't compatible. No one has taken the time, as far as I know, to see what makes the Mac client tick, but it's definitely a good bit different than the Win32 client... and even if it worked the same way, it would be too old at this point anyhow. I don't believe there were ever any "compilation packs" like Titanium, Platinum etc, released for OSX.

Default os x EQ has all the way to PoP

and the actual server that mac players connect to as far as sony goes is a retired pc side PoP server, i am sure it just flipping a switch someplace, i will try a few things and see what happens.

I'm in the same boat; I work now on a Mac but used a PC when I played EQ. I've been meaning to try EQ Titanium under Darwine but haven't had the time. Bootcamp is pretty lame but it gets the job done. Let me know if you have any progress.
