Help logging on.

Ok, try to not beat me, but I cannot figure it out.

I've followed the guide

Changed the eqhost file

Made the link.

Started eq and get the following errror when I try to login

Invalid user and or password.

I've put myself in the dmz and opened port 5998.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong here...

playing on someone elses server or your own?

And yes, I created a login first.

Brand new installation of titanium I just purchased yesterday.

Are you using a fresh installation of Titanium?

Did you create your login accounts under User CP settings on top?

People get confused between the Forum username and password, and the 3 Login Server accounts you create under User CP...

Ok, that confuses me. I did go to User CP settings and did have a login created. It differs from my forum login. I'm not sure what your "3 login server accounts" refers to. All I know is that I have a forum account, and a login account.

You can create up to 3 login server accounts. Make sure you're using one of your LS accounts, and not your forum account to login to the game.

I'm not using my forum name. I'm going to try to create another login account and see what happens. I greatly appreciate you guys trying to help without flaming me into next week.

Ok, apparently somehow I either fat-fingered the password twice when I got my first login, because as soon as I made a new one and tried it, boom... I was in and can see the servers. Thanks SO much!
