Default Hosting Services

Can anyone recommend a good company to host an emu server off of? Current budget is about $50/month.

Also I am curious as to how I will boot/shut down the world server if it is hosted by a company? What kind of control do I have in terms of updating the database / files as well as world server control. A bit confused about how this works.

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks.

Are you the same person that posted in the link below about hosting?

http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=25074

I am just curious because it is weird to see the same question asked 2 times. I know who you are, but I don't know who the other person is that is looking for hosting. And there aren't many servers out there with enough players to even need to consider it.

And this is just a guess, but I think 50$ a month is probably too low. I would think it is more like 100$ to 150$ a month or more. Of course, if someone knows of good hosting for that price, it would be nice to see a link to check out.
