Default Cannot connect.

Hi I am brand new to EQEmu, and I want to play on the PwnedEmu server.

What I did was I took my fully patched Everquest folder, made a copy of it, and did what EQEmu told me to do, change the eqhost file, etc.

I launched it, and I logged in with my eqemu account/password. I then selected the server Tallon/Vallon Zek or whatever, and when I hit connect all it does is make a Window that is fully black, and nothing else happens, and I have to just end the process using CRL-ALT-DELETE. I thought maybe it is just that server, but it does that with every eqemu server.

I have a Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHZ, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB HD, nVidia 8600M GT, Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP1.

I really don't want to sound terrible about saying this, and hopefully you won't take offense...but I'm thinking you didn't fully read the forum rules screen properly. It told you the EQ version you need to be running, as well as the phrase "unpatched, fresh install"....

Bah, sorry about that. All I have for CDs are Classic, EQ Trilogy (RoK, SoV), Luclin, and PoP.

Sorry about that. Don't feel like buying anything either.
