Default forum time too fast

I realize this is at the very bottom of the list of things to take care of, but giving a heads up that the forum time is incorrect. It looks like it's about 8 hours, 7 minutes too fast.

Then again, maybe every other clock is too slow

It has been like that for a long time now. The best solution is to just change whatever timezone you have your account set to use by 8 hours and then it will at least seem much more accurate.

So, if you are in GMT -8, and it is showing up as being 8 hours too fast for you, then just set it to GMT -16 and see how that looks.

Yeah I don't really know what's up with that. It's been fast as long as I can remember.

It's easiest to just ignore the time on the forums and look at your watch.

I use the new posts functionality to know if there are posts that I haven't read.

I live in CST and have my User CP options set to GMT +11 and it seems pretty accurate.

Looking for unread posts works ok, but it is sometimes nice to know when exactly a post was made.

If I were to guess, I would guess that time is set incorrectly on the host server. Run a "date" command next time and see what it reports :P
