Default recipe performed in Tradeskill Window does not consume

I made a bunch of new recipes for an upgradeable ring. Take your Ring Level 1 combine with upgrade piece and get a Ring Level 2 with better stats, and so on.

The recipe works just fine when doing a manual combine (hit experiment button, click your ring and upgrade piece over to the container manually, hit combine).

When using the Tradeskill Window for the combine the new ring (Ring Level 2) is created okay, but the ingredient ring (Ring Level 1) is not consumed (the upgrade piece is consumed like it is supposed to be). Seems like I read something on this, but I cannot for the life of me find it. Is it some setting on the container in the db?

Just a recap: Recipe works perfect on manual combine (ingredients all consumed), switch to Tradeskill Window and recipe does not consume the ingredient ring.

Just checking if something in what I posted did not make sense? I am wondering if anyone clues to a possible solution to the problem.

Are you using custom items? Post your recipes and we can test them.

Yeah, these are custom items. In fact, the container is a custom item too.

Hmm, maybe that's the problem. I wonder if there is a setting that will make my custom-item container not open up into the Tradeskill-Window view so that it only opens into the regular-container view. That will solve the problem. Anybody know if there is a setting like that and where it is?

Seems like I saw something somewhere on that, gonna have to search...<muttering to myself>

Yeah that was it. The custom container I made was a copy of the Jeweler's Kit and so the 'bagtype' column in the 'items' table was set to 20 (20 = Jeweler's Kit). So I changed that to a 30 (30 = Quest Combine container) and now you can't open the "Tradeskill Window" anymore--only the regular container view with the "Combine" button. So now the recipe works just fine.

There's likely a reasonable explanation why the ingredient ring was not being consumed when I used the "Tradeskill Window" (as opposed to manually combining the recipe in the "normal container view" with just the "Combine" button) but that is pretty much irrelevant now, and likely it is because I was not using it correctly anyway.
