Help with character creation

I set up my friends computer to play EqEmu on the server. He can connect to the login and servers fine, and doesnt crash during character creation or anything. His problem is he creates a character and it says submitting name to server and approves it, but dumps him back to the character creation screen and doesnt show the character he just finished, any ideas?

devn00b, i talked to you in irc under the name of necromancer. I went back and loaded up eqw and went into test server, made a few chars and went back to join my server. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

still not working...lol...you must of had a diff problem.
