Incorrect Version...

AS of 2-26 im all updated and when i ran eqemu via eqw i got an incorrect version error when i tried to login im trying to get in on the gotfrags server im wonderin if its cuz im all patched or if theres something i could have done wrong when setting up eqemu

Open eqhosts.txt and you'll see under [Login Servers] the line:

"eqlogin.gotfrags.com:5999"

Change it so that line reads:

"eqlogin.gotfrags.com:5997"

Okay, you're good to go I hope.

thanks abunch i think that fixed it no longer giving me wrong version i need to make a new password/login though =)
