Default Database Questions

I am interested in helping gather data that is currenlty missing from zones, spawns, etc. Before I do I wanted to know the following:

1. Is there a "standard" database I should be using?
2. Do we track the database version in a table somewhere?
3. I haven't researched this one so Im just asking since im already here...Does Mysql have the ability to generate change scripts?

Any help would be appreciated.

No sig, no funny animations, just wanted you to look here.

Go to the Eqemu home page (http://www.eqemu.com) then click on the Files test link, its small on the left side of the page under the word Sourceforge

Look there for the Eqemu Releases, to build your own server

If your looking to just play, simply download the Eqemu patcher, install it into your Everquest directory(By Default: C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest Trilogy)

If your looking to build your own server, go to the site i told you earlier or go to this post:

Well, heres a better idea, let me refer you to the readme . . .

http://www.eqemu.net/Guide.htm

Just follow that as best you can, and search for posts by Drawde or Trumpcard, they usually are the ones who post on how to fic and build your server
