Bad Username/Password error.
I'm currently getting the following error when I try to log into the emu;
"EQEMu Error: Bad username/password"
I'm patched to the latest version of EQLive, and eqhost.txt is set to:
[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5997"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5997"
}
I was able to log in yesterday, and I'm able to log into the forum, obviously, so does anyone have any idea why this error would be occuring? Is this happening to anyone else currently?
Thanks!

I don't know what the problem is. I am getting this as well, and it is preventing me from doing development! After 5 minutes of bad user/pass, it magically works. 5 minutes later, it's back to invalid user/pass!

Thanks very much, that fix worked for me. Now all we need is an unlocked server!

I've looked all over for the LIVE file, i did a search, made sure that it would search in all hidden folders...........NOTHING. im not starting EQemu with emu's start up program, im starting EQ and when the patch screen is finished, im changing the eqhost.txt file

Looks in her folder frantically...hmm i see
eqhost (which i edited)
then i see:
eqhost.live
eqhost.debug
eqhost.test
do i have to edit those too? i edited eqhost and i still get the invalid user name error =/
never mind about this post
I re-read this thread and noticed u have to patch eqhost.live too. Thanks by the way!!

eqhost.live has nothing to do with the problem. This problem is server side and there is nothing you as a user can do to get around it.
Anymore mention of eqhost.live and I'll turn this car right around and drive all the way back home! No Wally World for you!

Yet another of those with a bad username/password
I can log in with my friend's account name and password, but not mine. Ugh. Hope it gets fixed soon. I'm looking forward to playing EQ again after a hiatus ;)
