its probably just some stupid mistake ive made, cuz im not real knowledgable with technical type comp stuff, but i was refered to eqemu by a friend, and wanted to try it out.

i followed the instructions given here:

but for some reason its not working. when i attempt to log in using this forum account, it gives me an error saying bad username/password. obviously its the right username/password if im posting using this account. i logged in using my friends information, and it worked just fine, which leads me to believe its a problem with the account on your side.

is there a time period between when an account is made and when it becomes valid for logging into eqemu? if so how long? like i said its probably just a problem on my side, but i was kinda anxious to test out eqemu and id like to get this solved asap if possible.

you did change you eqhost.txt file right? make sure its correct

hehe well i should have scrolled down a little bit. just saw a thread about this same problem, and that answered my question. hopefully this will get fixed soon :P
