New terrorist attack? What you think?

I was watching the news, most of the east coast including ontario canada, new york city, detroit and some others, are in a blackout. They say it wasn't terrorist attacks, but what else could it be? Just a major failure? What do you think?

I think it was caused because the Niagara-Mohawk power grid, which provides power for New York and stretches into Canada, was overloaded.

They still say on TV that they ain't sure if its terrorists or not. They say its LIKELY that it was overloaded. They ain't sure yet.

Yea, ealier that link i put up was saying it was caused by a fire. Its been edited like 5 times today, keep checking it for the newest cover up story :lol:

Now they say it was Lightning. Can't they make up their minds? LOL

Now thats a power plant in seatle or whatever that caused disturbance in a power grid at niagara

news casters in my area believe it happend becuz of an overload and the out of date systems on that power grid wasnt able to cope with it

It was overloaded. One plant failed for some reason, and it was not contained, making the other plants work harder in turn. Then another went out for some reason. (I heard it was a tree in the way or something...) and then the strain was to much, so everything went out.

I say it was overload.

Now, even after 9/11 ya have those guys on TV with a new cliche to play with... "Or else the terrorists win". "Buy this new car... Or the terrorists win". Can you belive that BS?

I also agree hardy,i think it was terrorists or some form of malicious intent....

I like how they get up thier and try 2 lie to the public about whats happenend.....

Alot of peeps think like i do,but we will never know what happen,our government is too hush hush and likes to lie for that :(

And they actually said they can CONFIRM that lightning struck it, then they chatted to the peeps at the place where it supposedly hit, they said that lightning did NOT hit it. Did they not think of asking them before evidently "confirming" it?

Can they never get a story straight? For the past year, I learned to NEVER trust the news, I don't even watch it anymore. Its to pathetic, they change stories way to much. I bet 90% of the stuff you hear on the news, is pure BS. They will think the story is to "boring", so they change it, why? To get the ratings up! Its all about the money.

Thats just it,they wont ever tell you what really happend,but we can speculate what took place...(Use logic and you will agree)

1 reason i think they dont wanna admit it is,they dont wanna uncover some terror plan to the ememy....Trouble is,they already did it,so what the hell???

I dont believe anything i hear on the news either,i tunred the TV on,saw the prez,turned it off when i heard him say "NOTHING LEADING TO TERRORISM" I was upset and said,"Ya,ok....." and turned it off...

I dunno......
