Now somebody which differences are between this :
EVERQUEST GOLD PACK
EVERQUEST THE SHADOW OF LUCLIN
Can I play with both of them online ? on emu servers?

well gold pack has all expations minus the newest one LoY

the shadows of luclin just has eq clasic and luclin expation.

bolth can be played on eqemu

If your going to buy one or the other I would buy ( no contest ) the gold pack

sony is soon to come out with a plat ed ( I cant remember the real name of it ) it has all expations including LoY ( the one that gold does not have )

and if your going to play on live still gold ed no hands down having all expations is the way to go and if the newer ver of the gold ( I just call it plat ed ) come out buy it you will not be sorry.

ok thf for info about the game but i have another questions:

1- Which differences are between legit, semi , non-legit servers?

2- i heard from my friend which played before 6-8month that a lot of quests and magic doesnt works. Are there still the same problems?

1) Legit is a server thats trying to be exactly like EQLive, have to earn your money, buy items, etc... There are no extra commands.
Semi-Legit gives you a few commands, but not to many more, mainly like #summonitem and the sort.
non-legit is not even close to legit, you can summon items, pick your level, zone to differant areas by just a single command, etc...

2) Quests work, you just have to add them in yourself.
Last time I knew, spells worked, but some are still buggy (might need correction, been a while since I played).

If i bought latest versions/datadisk for EQ, it brings me some new features/items etc..,. in game if i will play in eqemu servers?

well yes and no. gold will work fine in servers ver 4.4 and lower. ub the newest one that is to come out that has all expations ( classic through to LoY ) will work on 5.0 servers and up.

sad thing is that the 5.0 servers are in heavy dev. at this time ( my last check ( in my eyes please dont get mad just what I seen ) there just as buggy and quarky as the old 1.# vers. ( amnost nothing works ( not all data based related ))

but here is my take on this if you are going to spend the money get all the expations that way if you do want to play live your set. 2 soon the 5.0 servers will catch up to the where they were to 4.4 ( in game playability ) and it will be worth the wait ( one thing I did knowtice the 5.0 did seem to be more stable ( may be lack of working things I dont know I not a programer just a player )

so if it was me wait till the latest ver of eq bundle comes out buy it ( to have all the expations ) and 5.0 servers should be close to ready for play.
