How many people actually play ?

Hey all just wondering how many people are actually on the server at any given time ? I just found out about this, I used to play alot of Ultima Online PR shards, but recently found out about EQ ones ... So I just signed up and made an account, but when I went to get on I seen like 5 or 6 servers, but 3 of them were LOCKED and the other 2 only had like 10people and 2 people in it .... I thought the servers were really popular, like 300+ at any given time .... So, I was wondering if this is the normal population of the servers, or I was thinking that maybe 1 of the LOCKED servers is the main server and was just down or locked for some update maybe im not sure ... So if anyone could fill me in that be great

no there is NEVER 300 people on 1 server, this isnt SOE here. The typical amount depends on the server, some average 5-10 others average 20-30, havent seen more then 30ish people on any server at one time since GW went down.

notice i sayd SINCE GW went down? GW was uber i saw 120+ on there regularly when i first came to EMU.

ahhh you took my post in the wrong way.

was showing him an example of how many peeps can get on a server during peak times (ie when the emu is in sync with current patches)
