Is eqemu up to date now?
ok i just wanna know because I have updated to all the latest patches (because I am getting Ykesha and dont want my downloads big on feb 24th) but I cannot make a backup of my eq folder because I do not have the HD space. I dont want to get rid of my current patches because of reasons listed above...I dont wanna run a server I just want to play on these new servers like Guild Wars and other. Thanks.

No EQEmu is not up to date, but yo can get on irc and get a fix for it. Go to the eqemu channel and read the channel topic, go from there.

if it involves gettring rid of what I have patched since Jan.9th or so then forget it ill just wait.

Good question and the answer is that it takes a lot of time to update stuff on the website and for now, you will just have to resort to IRC my friend. Sorry.

Actually, I suspect it's because this site is completely legit, and that "fix" involved EQ game files in some way/shape/form.
While they want to help people, they do not want to provide the information directly from here as that may be considered as supplying warez, or too close for comfort to it anyway..
That's my guess anyway.

I've tried said fix, and it didn't work for me, now I get a 1002 error yeah yeah RTFM been there done that, just gave up on it myself :P I'll just play the regular game and work with it when its all stable. |

How big is it? It's less than 5megs, I'd assume. Unless you've got a circa 1990 PC, it shouldn't be a big deal. All this space to install EQ, but no space for mirc...
