Any 24/7 LEGIT server need help?
I was working with ManJones Legit Server, making quests mainly which I really enjoyed doing. Was working on the warrior newbie quests, which I quit for now because ManJones has just disappeared, won't respond to PMs, never on ICQ anymore, and his "24/7" server is gone. I am looking to help a 24/7, legit, server. Legit, I mean lvl on your own, get your own items, and what we was doing was buy items from GMs for low prices. Exept it seems trading money still don't work, as far as I know anyway.
If anyone is interested, PM me or email me: hardyeq@kornfreak.com , put a good subject line, I usually delete emails that look like junk mail, or they get filtered.
Or just leave a reply here, and I will PM you.

Quests I have done: Soulbinders, Translocaters on docks and Scions. Working on newbie quests. |

It looks different on every computer, much like Windows *CAN*. To be honest, I use KDE - it's a windowing manager - so I don't have to look at the "dos" part of Linux - and it looks very similar to Windows. It's only scary to use the first time. My little sister uses it all the time when she comes over. Most of the stuff they make for it looks an awful lot like Windows - xmms, k3d, etc. etc. etc. Save 5 GB of space on your hard drive and install Linux once you're done installing Windows. You don't have to use it, but you might like to.

Yes its windows generated if your at the same computer that the operating system is on, im refering to the offer to him if he had any knowledge of linux. Basicly if he was to help with a project im guessing hes not going to drive to the location of the box and mess around with it. There for hed be under a telnet or ssh client entering commands in. |

i am not going to drive to the location, hehe, thats correct. I might have to look into Linux and see what it can do. I have messed with almost all versions of windows, i started with windows 3.1 5 years ago i believe it was. What i do though, is make the files, like quests, and send em to ya over PM or email. They are not hard to put into the server at all, very very easy. So far no one is seeming interested in this, so I might just stick to playing on the servers |

My idea though was to just release the database when I was done with it as a custom world. Nothing to do with EQ at all. When I get to questing I could really use some help. |
