Default EQgame: Has performed an illegal operation

After I click a server, it does what it normaly does for the first 10 seconds, then an eqgame illegal operation box pops up. Does anyone know of a solution for this? I've reinstalled several times already and have DX9.0b.

I don't have pop installed..could this be a problem?

What server versions are you trying to connect to? If you've patched in the last week or two you need to play on 5.7 DR3 only. If those are crashing on you, do you have at least 1 gig of free HD space? I've gotten the same thing before when I have only like 400 MB. Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers?

Just a warning about the complete file check:

WARNING! IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Although it is usually a very good idea to fix issues like the one you are experiencing, right now it's a bad idea.

Just a heads up...
