Non-Legit Server on DR6?

Umm... I know all the servers are down and I finally got the emu to work, but do all the servers tell you if they are legit, non-legit or whatever? If not could someone tell me a non-legit server on DR6?

I think most servers have legit/semi-legit/non-legit in their name, depending on what they are.

Don't think there's any non-legit servers right now, though, and nobody seems to want to run one.

darn lol...the only reason I wanted to play EQEmu is to do stuff I couldn't do in EQLive withought years of leveling and questing... dang. So like whats a semi-legit? Can you like level to 30 and then you automatically go to 65 or what?

Semi-legit usually involves leveling up on your own, but you can #zone and #summonitem and whatnot.

There was one non-legit server from what I saw, but it's iffy. At times it's on the list and times it's not. Something like 'Brandon's non-legit eqemu server'

Though I have to say Semi-legit is more fun. There's no point in levelling up right away, but it's always nice to have the items you like.

I think your confused by what the word "legit" represents here...
Don't think EQ live experience rates, most servers are far faster, infact on many you can reach 65 in about a week or two.
Most people find no fun in leveling with the push of a button, casting any spell instantly or zoneing on command, thus those servers are not common. I personally have no idea why someone would even bother to play a non-legit server, fun for how long, a day... if that?

yeah i agree non-legit servers are fun for a break while your favorite legit server is down or being updated or somethin like that but there isnt really a point to a non-legit server, the fun kinda gets sucked out of them in about an hour

Yea even the legit servers for the most part let you level fast. Also alot of them have custom items. For instance one I was on recently starts you off with a full set of armor with massive AC and Stats, and it gives you 45 damage 10 delay weapons with a 1k lifetap effect. I was level 47 within 2 hours. Scorp2k used to be a really fun server, but since that last patch its about as bad as live server now. People camping the named mobs 24/7 farming loot, tons and tons of high level mobs with no loot whatsoever, and seems like exping is alot slower. Exp goes up about as fast on there as it does on live, just your downtime is minimal.

Ok, I see what you're saying. Hehe, I do find it fun just to get as strong as possible then go find and kill the most powerful monster in the game, but it does get boring sometimes. I didn't realize(sp?) that you could level so fast, never played EQEmu before. Anyway thanks for your feedback.
