Default Loading Zone from Character Selection Crash

Today, i tried to log onto other people's server and after i create a character and click enter world it loads a bit then goes to the server selection screen! I've tried multiple servers many times, and none of them have worked so far.

Finally i downloaded mysql and emu, and have them all working until i get loading my character onto my own server, it crashes, i checked the world.exe and it says opcode not known, and my zone.exe says neriak.cfg can't read or cannot be found.

I've gone over the readme, and forums and cannot find a solution to this problem, please help.

If I didn't provide enough information, tell me and i'll copy and paste the errors on my next post.

Thanks,

Jcomer

eqmain is not the only backup you will have to do , basically you need to backup all what is not refering to zones

Default Copied

I copied all my EverQuest files to another location, i hope the new location won't get updated everytime there is a patch, is there something i should delete on my second everquest location?

Thanks,

Nope, it only scans from the launch dir. If you're using XP, use a compressed folder, otherwise zip it. It'll save you some HD space.
